Instructions:
- Take the Ribeye out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Pat it completely dry with a paper towel and season generously with coarse salt and black pepper.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet until it’s smoking hot. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side to develop a deeply caramelized, savory crust.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Toss in a large piece of butter, crushed Garlic cloves, and sprigs of Fresh Herbs.
- As the butter melts and foams, tilt the pan and continuously spoon the aromatic butter over the steak for about 1 minute. Let the meat rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
