Returns & Exchanges Policy
1. OUR "FRESHNESS FIRST" COMMITMENT At Giant Food, we stand behind the quality of every cut of meat and every jar of baby food we sell. Because we deal with highly regulated consumable goods, our return policy is designed to protect the health of our community and comply with FDA safety standards.
2. NO-RETURN POLICY FOR FOOD & BABY FORMULA For safety reasons, we do not accept physical returns of food products, meat, beverages, or baby formula. Once food leaves our controlled environment in Landover, it cannot be safely restocked or resold. This ensures that every item you buy from us is guaranteed to be untampered and safe.
3. REFUNDS & REPLACEMENTS Even though you cannot mail the food back, we will always make it right. You are eligible for a full refund or a replacement shipment if:
- Quality Issues: The meat or produce does not meet our freshness standards upon arrival.
- Damage: Packaging is ruptured, safety seals are broken, or glass jars are shattered.
- Temperature Failure: Perishable items arrive warm or thawed due to carrier delays.
- Order Errors: You received an item different from what you ordered.
4. BABY FOOD SAFETY Infant health is our highest priority. If you receive baby food or formula with a dented can, a popped safety button, or an expired date, do not consume the product. Contact us immediately for an unconditional refund and instructions on safe disposal.
